I could not recommend Kitty and her team more highly! We have just completed a major first floor renovation that was somewhat complex — kitchen, taking down walls, creating a new mudroom, hardwood throughout, etc. Kitty was an essential member of the team, making some of the trickiest design choices work seamlessly.
Given some of the things we wanted — to keep some of our original maple kitchen cabinetry, to go with Pewabic tile in the kitchen, and to fill the space with warmth and richness — and our love for old furniture and color, I was nervous that we would find a designer who was pushing us toward some of the contemporary white/gray/neutrals.
But from the first moment Kitty came to walk through our home, I knew she was the right fit. She carefully observed our furniture, our art, and us. She asked lots of questions about us, the way we live, and what we were wanting out of our renovation. Kitty was very quickly able to figure out our preferences – even when my husband’s and mine differed — and create recommendations that knocked it out of the park.
I’m confident that Kitty could work in any style — where she excelled was in learning about us, watching what we responded to, and then building a design plan around that. I loved working with her and absolutely recommend her!
